Suede: This is a tricky material to deal with. When storing your suede handbag, be sure not to let anything rest against it, as this can create spots on suede material. Additionally, suede brushes work well at getting imprint stains out.
Snakeskin: The scales on snakeskin material will inevitably change over time. There is not much you can do about this other than to have them lacquered, and even then- there is no guarantee that the scales on your handbag will stay perfect.
Patent Leather: Patent leather perhaps the easiest material to keep flaw-free. If you spill something on a patent leather handbag, simply wipe it away using a little vinegar and water, and you will be good to go!

4. Pick at all threads on the bag to be sure that they are not loose. If there is a hanging thread, pull it off before you purchase your bag. This will ensure that you do not pull of a thread which will unravel and undo the stitching for part of your handbag.
